Nicole is an accredited practising Dietitian (APD) and joins Hunter Gastroenterology with over 20 years’ experience working as a senior Dietitian in the clinical setting at the John Hunter Hospital. Nicole obtained her Dietetic qualifications locally at the University of Newcastle. Her Dietetic experience includes working in major tertiary hospitals in Tasmania and rural hospitals within Hunter New England Health. Her role at the John Hunter Hospital has involved working closely with members of the gastroenterology team. She strives to work with her clients, aiming to provide realistic and evidence based approaches to care.

Nicole has a special interest in all aspects of general gastroenterology, including liver disease and inflammatory bowel disease. Nicole also has experience in working with clients who have had Gastrointestinal surgery. Her role at John Hunter Hospital has included providing team based care in the mental health setting.

Nicole was born and educated in local schools. She enjoys an active lifestyle and is busy with her husband raising the children.

Nicole is excited to be joining Hunter Gastroenterology in 2022.
